Anthony Sawrey
Anthony specialises primarily in painting, but has also been involved in a myriad of art and culture activities since the late eighties, working in a variety of formats, producing a varied output of work. This ranges from multi-media installations, murals and sculpture, through to comics and illustrations. He has travelled widely and worked on numerous collaborative projects here and abroad, from East Timor, China, India, Spain, and Chile to Austria and Germany.
His earliest formal arts education includes studies in ceramics and audio engineering. In 2007 he completed undergraduate studies at Sydney College of the Arts BFA (honours) and a Master of Fine Arts post graduate degree at Victoria College of the Arts and Music in 2009. He currently resides in Melbourne Victoria.
