Ever since I can remember I have loved anything creative, painting especially. As I was born and brought up in New Zealand, my childhood was full of adventure in the great outdoors. Bushwalking, climbing trees, visiting Grandpa’s orchard and our relative’s farms. This love of nature and the changing beauty it brings is what inspires me in a lot of my artwork. I want to bring something of the fleeting moments of time when light plays with colours in different ways each time. The Creator’s hand paints the skies, I try to imitate that effortless splendour.
Since graduating I have been part of some group exhibitions and painted live outside the Acer Arena (Superdome) Olympic Park for a 5 day event attracting 30,000 people. My paintings are held in private collections in Australia and overseas.
