Project: Studio Sicilia, a creative residency in Sicily for Artists, Writers & Creatives

2009 Art Exhibition: series of Cyanotypes on clothing at the Long Bien Festival, Hanoi, Vietnam Travel: Through northern Thailand, Laos & Vietnam on a pilgrimage for handmade paper to write a book with ThingsAsian Press, to be published in late 2010. Illustration: The Paper Pilgrimage book while learning Chinese for two months in Lijiang, China.

2008 Publication: Illustrator of the children’s book H is for Hong Kong Art Exhibition: Enduring Hong Kong at Karin Weber Gallery, Central Hong Kong Travel: From South to North Vietnam and photographed the series Spiritual Spaces, an exploration of the many juxtapositions between religion and culture, and secular/sacred in Vietnam. This travel was funded by a grant to interview artists and update the website Images will be printed & exhibited in 2010.

2007 Project/Exhibitions: Founded The Cyan Studio, a community Gallery for artists and photographers. Lamma Island, Hong Kong Art Exhibition: Opening Exhibition at Sarasen Gallery, Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong Painting: Faux marbling at the Venetian Macau with Live Paint, Macau/Hong Kong. Consultant, planner and painter of murals with the Hong Kong Mural Society

2006 Project: Co-ordinated weekly photo workshops for The Angkor Photo Festival, teaching photography to local children in Siem Reap, Cambodia Art Exhibition: Cyanotype blueprint series Bokor in Blue at the Four Seasons Bangkok

2005 Project: Founded Cameras for Cambodia, a program to donate film cameras. With these cameras, taught photography to children in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

2003 Project/Travel: Encaustic workshops in Port-au-Prince, Haiti

1999 Projects/Travel: Worked with artists in the first Liverpool Biennial Fringe TRACEY, Workhaus Gallery Volunteer art facilitator for at-risk teenagers at Great Georges Project, Liverpool Education BFA in Painting, University of Minnesota, USA
With a UROP Grant learnt how to make ancient Greco-Roman encaustic wax paints and produced a series of paintings based on Greek iconography.

1998 Education/Travel: Certificate of French Studies, University of Strasbourg, France. Created an independent study-abroad program while a student at the University of Minnesota

1975-1977 Moved with my family to Strasbourg, France. Spoke mostly French. Upon return to the US, she couldn’t communicate with anyone using English words, so used images instead. b.1974, California, USA
