Stefan Auimatagi von Reiche is a Samoan born contemporary artist. Also, a photographer, sculptor, painter and writer. Stefan's works are held at the Ward Nasse Gallery, Soho, New York and The Archetype Gallery, Sydney.
- Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Auckland New Zealand.
- Exhibitions: Samoa, American Samoa, Sydney and New Zealand.
- Collections: Frankfurt, Auckland, New York, Samoa, Atlanta, Sydney.
- Co-ordinated a group workshop for Contemporary Indigenous Artists at the 7th South Pacific Festival of Arts, at the MADD Gallery, Samoa 1996.
- Represented Samoa, in a group forum/workshop for Contemporary Indigenous Artists of Oceania & the Pacific, Rotorua, New Zealand.
- Performancing arts include; Butoh dancer in MAU Dance Company, Samoa and Auckland NZ. Performance installation at The Performance Space, Sydney.
- Published articles: 1997 edition of Art Asia Pacific, –titled ‘Back to Basics’.
- Co-founder of The Archetype Gallery and Director of the Ata Fotographics studio.
